Olympic Golden Retirements

Born in Thailand, educated bilingually first in France and later in Washington D.C. Renan learned at an early age to interact with people from different cultures, languages and ethnicities. From the French International School in Bethesda, Maryland, he came to UNCW to major in Business and Spanish, adding another language to his repertoire.

In 2006, he and a business partner founded Strategy Panama whose focus was on business brokering and consulting. During the 2008 financial crisis, it became apparent to him that many of his clients were unprepared for retirement. This is when he started referring many of his clients to Manny Fotiou, President of Olympic Golden Retirements. Together, they worked primarily on safeguarding his clients’ savings and strengthening their income and estate plans.

Renan came back to the United States to earn his International MBA at the Cameron School of Business at UNC-Wilmington.

Working with Olympic Golden Retirements, he now has the opportunity to help his clients with their retirement planning needs, to do for others what Manny was able to do for his family after the last market crash.

Renan services clients in Raleigh and Wilmington; he currently lives in Raleigh with his son Noah.

Old House Bookkeeping & Tax

My name is Matthew Jednak, and I have lived in Chapel Hill and the Pittsboro area since 2008. My wife and I are very happy to raise our son here, and to call this our home. I graduated from UNC – Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematical Decision Science. After school, I was an assistant fencing coach at UNC for 6 years, and still enjoy coaching the sport in a more part-time role.

Outside of work, I love to be with my family. It goes without saying that I love watching the Heels play. I truly enjoy going to games with my wife, who may be a bigger fan than I am, and my son.

I am excited about growing with my community, and helping individuals and small businesses with their financial logistics. Old House Bookkeeping & Tax is dedicated to creating a personal relationship with each client, and catering to their specific needs. I look forward to speaking with you.
